Zilong

Son of the Dragon

“The dragon's blood flows through my veins — and with it, the fury of a thousand storms.”

— The Legend

In the mist-shrouded peaks of the Eastern Lands, where ancient dragons once ruled the skies and mortals trembled at the sound of their wings, a child was born beneath a blood-red moon. His name was Zilong — and from his very first breath, the elders knew he was different.

The village of Long Zhua had long been the keeper of a sacred pact: a covenant between the last of the great dragons and the warriors who served them. For generations, the Long Zhua warriors had trained in the Dragon Spear arts, channeling the essence of dragonfire through their weapons and their blood. But the pact had grown thin, the dragons retreating deeper into legend with each passing decade.

Zilong's father was the village champion — a man of iron will and burning ambition who had pushed the Dragon Spear techniques further than any before him. When Zilong was born, his father saw in him not a son, but a vessel for the legacy he had spent his life building. Training began before the boy could walk. By age five, Zilong could shatter stone with a single thrust. By ten, he had mastered the Seven Dragon Forms. By fifteen, he had surpassed every warrior in the village.

But mastery came at a cost. The relentless training had stripped away Zilong's childhood, leaving behind a young man of extraordinary power and extraordinary loneliness. He fought not for glory, not for love — but because fighting was the only language he had ever been taught.

The turning point came during the Demon Tide — a catastrophic invasion that swept through the Eastern Lands like a black wave. Villages burned. Armies crumbled. And Zilong, standing alone at the gates of Long Zhua, made a choice that would define him forever. He did not retreat. He did not call for aid. He planted his dragon spear in the earth and held the line for three days and three nights, until the tide finally broke against his unyielding will.

When the smoke cleared, Zilong emerged changed. The battle had burned away the cold, mechanical warrior his father had forged — and in its place stood something fiercer, something truer. A protector. A guardian. A son of the dragon in spirit as well as blood.

Now Zilong walks the Land of Dawn, his spear ever at the ready, his eyes burning with the ancient fire of his ancestors. He fights not because he was trained to — but because he has chosen to. And in that choice lies the difference between a weapon and a warrior.
